Small grants of up to $3,000, or medium grants of between $3,000 to $15,000 may be provided to support projects and events organised mainly by and for one or a small number of cultural groups or organisations.
Major grants of $15,000 and over may be provided to support more far-reaching projects and events that involve and reflect the broad cultural diversity of South Australia.
Projects and events should:

support ethnic or multicultural organisations to undertake activities to promote an understanding of their cultures and heritages to the public;

assist ethnic or multicultural organisations to work with service providers to improve access and equity in services provision;

support ethnic or multicultural organisations to provide social and cultural support to their communities;

encourage and support individuals and groups from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to participate in planning and decision-making processes of community and government organisations.
