ARA Van

Bikes for refugees

Provides free second hand bicycles for humanitarian entrants, and their family/household members. Also free or low cost bicycle repair/maintenance/advice. Bike repairs are Western suburbs (Plympton) & north-eastern suburbs (Campbelltown). Run by the Bicycle Institute South Australia and Australian Refugee Association

Driving courses

Driver safety and awareness workshops, driver training courses and subsidised driver training towards a provisional driving licence. For young people who are humanitarian entrants and have lived in Australia for less than five years. Run by YouthJet in metropolitan Adelaide.

Lessons about how to ride a bike, road use and maintenance, for anyone who lives or works in the city of Adelaide. BikeSTART is a free, easy and fun online tool that finds your starting point for cycling and provides you with solutions.
